Old Trafford to Witness new Ronaldo?

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly interested in signing Chilean star Alexis Sanchez, who is compared to Cristiano Ronaldo, in a bid to bolster his squad.
Sanchez, who currently plays for Udinese FC, caught many eyes after putting in some fantastic displays for Chile in the World Cup. He was expected to leave Udinese to a bigger club, but things did not materialise and he stayed there.
Now, Sir Alex is looking to add that touch of pace that has been lacking since Ronaldo left by signing Sanchez, who is known for his skills and pace. Reports states the transfer is most likely to take place in the summer but there is an outside chance it might go through in the January transfer window.
However, the player's agent was reportedly to have said recently that Sanchez will not leave in January and there are a host of clubs vying for his signature, including Manchester United.
This is definitely an exciting prospect for United but what remains to be seen if he comes is that whether he can prove himself in the Premier League. If he does, he would definitely inject pace and intensity further into United's play.
The view of Nani and Sanchez bombing down the flanks would certainly appeal to most United faithfuls.
According to the pundits, if United do decide to make an official bid for the player, it would cost them around 16 million pounds to land him.
